Phil has been a realtor with Jack White Real Estate since 2015. During this time, Phil has demonstrated his skill and passion for real estate by being recognized as a Jack White “Top Producer” for the 3rd Quarter of 2016. Phil specializes in listing homes for sale as well as working with buyers. He also works with commercial real estate and multi-family investment property. Phil is currently pursuing his Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, and is preparing for the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) designation. His commitment and dedication to his clients, as well as his prior professional experience is what sets Phil apart.
Prior to beginning his real estate career, Phil worked as an environmental consultant for 14 years in Alaska and California. Phil specialized in environmental planning, permitting, contaminated site investigation and environmental due diligence (Phase I Environmental Site Assessment). Phil’s experience in environmental consulting brought him into contact with the commercial real estate world where he was frequently involved in the environmental aspects of commercial real estate development. He also has owned and managed multi-family investment properties.
Phil earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Management from Indiana University (1994). He has completed numerous continuing education courses related to environmental science, permitting and environmental planning. Phil also received his Registered Environmental Property Assessor (REPA) designation during his environmental science career.
Phil enjoys photography and graphic design, and has supported his wife’s business by building and managing her Wordpress website. Phil is a hands-on DIY person and receives great enjoyment creating marketing materials and photography for his real estate business.
Alaska has been Phil’s home since 2002 when he moved here with his wife who grew up in Kenai, Alaska. He has a family, and his two children attend Winterberry Charter School where he is active on the Winterberry Charter Council. Phil’s family is invested in Anchorage where his wife practices pediatric physical therapy and is a practice owner. During the summer Phil participates in coaching kids in the Mighty Bikes mountain biking program. If Phil is not working with a client, you can usually find him exploring Alaska’s biking trails.
